ALPINE PARAGLIDING LESSONS AND MOUNTAIN HOLIDAYS FRANCE- family aventure holidays!!

When you are not skiing and during your summer holiday, we can offer family adventure holidays with paragliding training and instruction. You can start with a tandem paragliding experience or 'biplace decouverte' to whet your appetite- children as young as 6 years old can be taken safely attached to the qualified paragliding instructor with a special harness so you can all enjoy a family adventure holiday with this exhilarating activity.

Further paragliding courses can be 3-5 days for ' initiation' and for the more experienced paraglider the 'perfectionnement' course with 5 days of paragliding lessons and a daily flight- weather permitting.

The paragliding school is in Les Carroz but if you stay at Chalet Cyclamen your paragliding course can be given in English with your instructor, Eric, coming to the Chalet for some of the lectures. Some or all of your meals can be prepared for you there by Mary- Eric's partner.

If you are staying for dinner prepared by Mary at the chalet, you can also enjoy a relaxing sauna and spa before you dine on the middle floor of the Chalet, enjoying fantastic mountain views from the balcony.

As a guide the catered rate per person with 7 daily breakfasts, packed lunch on 3 days and delicious 3 course dinner on 5 nights is 495 Euros in high summer season, to include use of spa and sauna. Extra meals are available on request. A tandem flight is from 65 Euros per person. Fees for paragliding courses depend on numbers and level of experience but for a 5 day course of paragliding lessons and instruction in English with several flights for around 400 Euros extra per person including hire of all paragliding equipment needed.

HOT AIR BALLOON HOLIDAY IN FRANCE AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR ALPINE MOUNTAIN HOLIDAYS

For a change, you can book a hot air balloon ride often taking off from just behind Chalet Cyclamen, where the convenient 'Souris Vert' creche can be found to safely look after young children during your adventure holiday and activities in France.

BMX bikes can he hired locally and there are many forest trails to follow with a major VTT alpine race in July each year. Again there is a large selection of alpine trails for walking holidays and hiking in the Alps. You can also add to your family adventure holiday with more 'thrills and spills' on a water-rafting trip at nearby Sixt, or even experience some water canyoning on the Grand Massif.

Less strenuous activities can be enjoyed during your holiday at the adjoining swimming pool leisure centre but even there you can try trampolining as well as archery courses too!
